Relation to Real World Texts

My magazine used aspects of real world texts in order for it to look as professional as other magazines on the market. My front cover used a bold masthead like many magazines I had researched, and a central image of the artist featured in the main article. I also incorporated a bar code and priced the magazine at £2.50, which was the average price for a monthly magazine of that genre. I included a euro pricing and a date, like I had seen featured on the covers of similar magazines. I decided to feature competitions for festival tickets, as from my research it appears to be a popular way to attract audiences, and I had seen it used in magazines such as Q, which I used to examine the conventions of magazines.
